OpsLab: Our New Look

Welcome to the new OpsLab.com

Although the OpsLab journey began in 2019, the last few months have been some of the most momentous in our company’s history. We completed a $5 million seed round, led by Cultivation Partners. We acquired a company called The Gonkulator, a leading provider of operational squadron planning software to the U.S. Air Force (USAF), built by pilots for pilots. We announced our seventh SBIR Phase III award with the United States Department of Defense.

And today, as a way to build on our 2024 momentum and reflect market demand, we’re rolling out our new branding, messaging, and website.

So, what’s new?

First, our new logo and our primary color palette. OpsLab has always done things a little differently, and we wanted our new visuals to convey that mentality. In an ever crowding defense tech space, we wanted something that would stand out – something people would remember. Instead of following the more standard black and white color scheme, we went with blue and orange on a cream background. This felt like the right balance of originality, creativity, and modernity. You’ll also notice a heavy emphasis on original artwork. This was a deliberate choice to emphasize our focus on outstanding visuals, which we also endeavor to achieve through the UI/UX of our products.

Next, our messaging, led by the primary tagline: Advancing Readiness. Optimizing Air Mobility. At our core, we are motivated each and every day to ensure our warfighters are optimally ready for the future fight. Throughout our hundreds of end customer interactions – and especially when we’re working on bases – the theme of enhancing combat mission readiness is a top priority. Accordingly, advancing readiness is the primary strategic driver of our work. OpsLab alleviates some of the most acute readiness challenges our pilots, trainers, and squadron planners face. Our marquee software product, Sky Schedule, a TRL-9 solution, optimizes air mobility by automating squadron planning tasks currently managed through outdated – sometimes completely manual – systems. Among its key features, Sky Schedule relies on automation to build forward looking flight schedules, quickly reflow schedules after disruptions, optimize critical resources, and simplify logistics. This not only improves the well-being of pilots, schedulers, and trainers, but it also allows commanders to predict their readiness levels in a way that’s never been possible before.

Finally, you’ll begin to see an emphasis on product visuals on both our digital platforms and our physical collateral. At the end of the day, we believe SkySchedule speaks best for itself, and its resonance at Air Force bases is the reason for our success thus far. We hope that every interaction with OpsLab conveys the speed and simple UI/UX SkySchedule offers.

We’d like to thank our loyal customer base, our incredible team, and everyone who’s supported us along the way. We’ll have much more news to announce this year, so if you’d like to stay informed along, please follow us on LinkedIn

And of course, if you’d like to learn more, schedule a demo today.
