A Milestone Worth Celebrating: 3,000 Warfighters on OpsLab and Counting

Today marks a special day for OpsLab. We’ve officially reached 3,000 U.S. Air Force end users across our platform—a milestone that feels both surreal and deeply meaningful for our team.

When OpsLab started this journey in 2019, we had a simple but ambitious vision: to use operations research and machine learning to solve the complex scheduling and resource optimization challenges facing our warfighters and commercial aviation partners. Back then, the idea of a new, bootstrapped company breaking into the defense market seemed daunting, if not impossible.

But here we are, six years later, with SkySchedule deployed across multiple components of the U.S. Air Force, serving squadron planners, pilots, and operators who depend on our software every single day.

What makes this milestone particularly meaningful isn’t just the number—it’s who these 3,000 users represent. They’re the pilots preparing for missions, the squadron schedulers working around the clock to optimize readiness, and the operators ensuring our nation’s defense capabilities remain sharp. Every user represents someone whose job we’ve helped make a little easier, whose operational efficiency we’ve improved, and whose mission readiness we’ve advanced.

This achievement also reflects the incredible trust our customers have placed in us. Breaking into the defense market requires more than just good technology—it requires earning the confidence of organizations where failure isn’t an option. From our seventh SBIR Phase III award to our acquisition of The Gonkulator, each milestone has been built on the foundation of user trust and product reliability.

To our team: thank you for your relentless focus on building software that truly serves our end users. To our investors and partners: thank you for believing in our mission when we were just getting started. And to our 3,000: thank you for pushing us to be better every day.

As we look ahead, we’re not slowing down. With new AI capabilities on the horizon and expanding partnerships across defense and commercial aviation, we’re more committed than ever to advancing readiness and optimizing air mobility at scale.

Here’s to the next 3,000—and to the warfighters and aviation professionals who inspire us to keep innovating.
